The NBA Play-In Tournament is set to take place April 11, and fans are eager to watch the best performing basketball teams compete with one another. With a lot of hype surrounding this event, fans are putting up their predictions on which team will take home the 2023 NBA Finals Championship Title. As a sports fan and writer, I will share my predictions on which team will take home the victory.

First and foremost, I will address the Kevin Durant situation. The Phoenix Suns were, at one point, the most anticipated champion following the Kevin Durant trade. However, due to his unfortunate injury, their team chemistry doesn’t seem to be on the finals contending level. 

Another team with high odds of winning is the Boston Celtics. With the second highest chance to win the title according to sports betting, the Celtics seem like a solid team. All-Stars such as Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been crucial to helping the Celtics win games consistently. The only reason I am hesitant about this team is the lack of defense in the paint. The Celtics do not have any lock-down centers that would efficiently guard the paint.

The Milwaukee Bucks, as the highest rated team in sports betting, should most likely take home the title, right? The Bucks seem to have every piece sorted to win the championship. With elite scorer Giannis Antetokounmpo and the top rank on defense, they are an obvious choice, and my initial pick. However, after its recent insane performance, my predicted team to win the NBA Finals is the Los Angeles Lakers. It seems like a long shot due to previous poor performances. The Lakers have been struggling from the three; however, the recent trade acquiring D’Angelo Russel has solved this issue. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis playing at a high level once again, the Lakers have a good shot of taking home the 2023 NBA Finals Title.
